Starting on Tay Street head south. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Clyde Street. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Tweed Street, drive over the overbridge (heading towards the Airport). At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Bond Street. The Invercargill Transfer Station is on the right hand side.
Customers drive onto a weighbridge and stop. The Weighbridge Operator will weigh the vehicle and hand the customer a Inward Docket (keep this docket for use on exit). Then the customer can continue into the facility, following the signage and dispose of their materials. When the customer comes to exit, they will drive onto another weighbridge and hand the Inward Docket to the Operator. The Operator will re-weigh the vehicle and advise the customer of the payment amount. Payment is by eftpos, cash or account (receipts are provided).
The "Garage" accepts quality second hand goods for resale. They also repair and refurbish. They are located inside the gates of the Transfer Station.
