Waste Free Parenting with Kate Meads

The Waste Free Parenting with Kate Meads workshop is a humorous, engaging and entertaining learning experience full of practical and cost effective tips around ways you can reduce waste at home especially with young children in the house.

Kate will teach you exciting and inspirational ways to minimise waste, while introducing you to modern sustainable products for use in your home.

At the workshop Kate will:

  • show you how you can easily reduce waste at home
  • introduce you to sustainable household products
  • show the environmental impact of the choices you make
  • dispel the myth about what happens to your waste.
Who should attend?

The workshop is suitable for all ages and stages - if you are pregnant, expecting. Its for couples, grandparents and health professionals.

Can I bring my baby?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your baby along to the workshop.  However please be mindful of others, and if they are crying or upset you may need to take them out, settle them and then come back in.  Consider bringing along quiet toys to entertain them.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the workshops starts, as this allows us to check you in and start promptly.
